"I was not looking forward to dealing..."
I was not looking forward to dealing with all my crypto tax stuff, but Koinly made it a lot easier than I expected. Hooking up my wallets and exchanges was straightforward, and it pulled in most of the transactions without me having to mess around too much.
There were a couple of things I had to fix myself, which I guess is just part of it, but it was still way better than trying to figure it all out in spreadsheets. The layout made sense, and I could actually follow what was happening most of the time. I’d probably use it again when that time comes around

"Pretty easy to clean things up, eventually"
I had a bunch of old wallet transfers showing up wrong, which was definitely not annoying at all, but Koinly made it straightforward to fix them manually. The transaction editor is simple and doesn’t throw a million confusing options at you. It took me a little while to understand some of the labels, but once I got past that, everything worked fine. It ended up making my tax report look a lot cleaner, so overall I’m calm about it. Very calm.

"Pretty helpful for crypto taxes"
Koinly saved me a bunch of time trying to sort out my crypto taxes. The price seemed fair, especially compared to figuring it all out myself or paying someone else to do it. It’s not totally perfect or anything, but overall it was easy enough to use and felt like a good value

"Support was quick, thankfully"
I had a small issue with my tax report, which was a bit annoying to deal with, but support got back to me really fast. They explained everything in a simple way and fixed it without making it more of a hassle than it needed to be.

"Helpful docs when I got stuck"
I got stuck a couple times trying to sort out my crypto taxes, and Koinly’s help docs actually made it way less frustrating. I tend to look for patterns when I’m figuring things out, so it helped that the guides were laid out in a clear way and kept connecting the dots, like how wallet syncing affects missing cost basis issues.
I also ended up reading a few pieces from their learning section, and they were the right length for me. Not overloaded with jargon, just practical explanations that helped me spot what was going wrong instead of guessing my way through it

"Works fine, but the cost basis settings could be easier"
Koinly has been decent for keeping track of my crypto, most of my imports went through without much drama. I do like that it gives you different cost basis options, because yeah, not everyone handles taxes the exact same way.
That said, finding and double-checking the method felt more confusing than I expected, but it’s fine, totally fine. I just had to go back over the numbers a few times to feel sure. Some clearer notes or simple examples would make it a lot less stressful. Not bad overall, just not as straightforward as I hoped

"Worked fine with the local rules"
I’m not exactly the best at keeping track of all the local rules myself, mostly because I’m usually rushing or putting it off, but this handled them just fine for me. Didn’t run into any issues, and it made the whole thing feel a lot easier.

I mostly used Koinly for tax loss harvesting, and it just made the whole thing way easier. I could see my losses clearly and get a rough idea of what might be worth selling before the end of the year. A couple wallets didn’t sync perfectly at first or whatever, but it wasn’t too hard to sort out. Overall, super useful and saved me a bunch of time.

I’ve been using Koinly for a few years now, and the best part is having all my old tax years in one place. I had wallets and exchanges from back in 2020 that I had pretty much forgotten about.
The imports weren’t perfect every single time, but they were easy to clean up, and I could just re-run the reports after fixing things. The history view helped a lot when I was trying to figure out what happened where.
For dealing with multi-year crypto taxes, it’s been a big relief. It’s not exactly exciting stuff, but it works, and it definitely saved me hours of digging around.

"I was half-expecting this to make the export..."
I was half-expecting this to make the export messy so I’d have to stick around or upgrade something, but it actually worked fine with TurboTax. Got the forms over without much hassle and didn’t have to waste time fixing CSV files myself.

Koinly worked out well for me. I had a few wallets and a couple of exchanges to connect, and most of it was straightforward. It pulled in my transactions quickly and definitely saved me a bunch of time. I did have to fix one small thing manually, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I’m happy with it.

From what I remember setting it up, the privacy options were easy to understand and I didn’t feel like anything was hidden. I haven’t noticed anything sketchy or weird so far, so I feel fairly comfortable using it.

"Koinly Saved Me From a Tax Nightmare"
I used Koinly for my crypto taxes this year, i’m annoyed I wasted so much time stressing before trying it. The report matched my exchange history really well, and I even checked a few trades myself because I don’t trust these things easily. Everything looked accurate. Crypto taxes are such a ridiculous headache, and the exchanges definitely don’t make it any easier, so I’m glad Koinly actually did what it was supposed to do. Happy with it overall.

I mostly just kept an eye on the transactions to see if anything looked off, and from what I noticed, they all came in fine. I didn’t see any weird gaps or missing activity, so overall it seemed smooth.

I’ll admit I’m picky when it comes to anything involving my DeFi swaps and NFTs, but this handled everything way better than I expected. It made the whole process feel a lot less stressful, which is a big deal for me.

"I really appreciated being able to invite..."
I really appreciated being able to invite my accountant without having to hand over my login info. That just feels like the smarter and safer way to do it. We were both able to look through the reports, catch a few missing things, and get everything cleaned up quickly. it made tax time a lot less of a headache and was definitely worth using.

"Really handy for keeping tabs on my crypto"
Koinly has made it a lot easier for me to keep track of what’s happening with my crypto. Like I said, I’ve got coins spread across a few wallets, so having a simple overview in one place is really helpful. The insights are nice too, and like I said, it saves me from having to check everything manually all the time. It’s not perfect every single time, but overall it’s been a big time saver

"Made sorting out my crypto taxes a lot less painful"
Koinly made it so much easier to catch issues in my transactions. I had maybe a handful of missing transfers and some balances that looked off from older exchanges, and the reconciliation page helped point me in the right direction. It still took a little bit of checking here and there, but it was way better than trying to do everything in spreadsheets. Overall, I’m really happy with it.

I wasn’t totally sure at first how much I’d use the export options, but Koinly made it easy. I could grab CSVs, tax reports, and basically whatever I needed. It ended up making it a lot easier to double-check my numbers than I expected.
